Ascensión al Pico Vértice del Anayet (2555 m), Formigal, Huesca

Ascent to Vértice del Anayet Peak (2555 m) (Anayet Apex), Formigal, Huesca

A las 8 de la mañana, Flor, Diego, mi padre y un yo, quedamos en el aparcamiento de Anayet en Formigal. 

At 8 am, Flor, Diego, mi padre and I met at Anayet car park in Formigal.

Desde el parking,  tomamos la pista " La Glera" que se encuentra a la derecha justo después del puente, vamos ganando altura por la pista hasta llegar a una zona llana donde la abandonamos, para seguir en dirección a la muralla del Espelunciecha y adentrarnos en el Barranco de Culibillas.

From the car park, we crossed the bridge and took the slope "La Glera", We climbed on it until we reached to a flat area, where we abandoned the slopes and we headed towards the Muralla de Espelunciecha (Espelunciecha wall) and get into the Culibillas Canyon.

Al fondo del Barranco de Culibillas giramos a la derecha, para subir la última pala que lleva a los Ibones del Anayet. 

At the end of the Culibillas Canyon, we turned right to climb the last hillside that ends at the Ibones del Anayet (Anayet lakes).

Pasamos sobre los lagos cubiertos de nieve y sobre las lomas llegando a la base de la pala del collado entre el Pico Anayet y el Vértice, como era mjy vertical, tuvimos que ponernos los crampones.

We passed over the frozen lakes covered in snow and over some hills to reach to the hillside base of the pass between the Anayet peak and the Vertice. As it was very steep we had to put the crampons on to carry on with the climb.

En el collado, al ser una zona muy ventosa, había zonas sin nieve, por lo que tuvimos que subir caminando con los crampones hasta cima.

The mountain pass is a very windy area, due to that, there were some areas with no snow, so we have to do the rest of the climb to the summit wearing our crampons.

El descenso lo realizamos por el otro lado de la montaña, aprovechando la gran loma que llega hasta los ibones, el resto del descenso lo realizamos por el Barranco de Culibillas hasta el Parking.

We desdended for the other side of the mountain, taking the massive hillside that ends at the Anayet lakes, the rest of the descent we was following the Culibillas Canyon until the car park.
