Vía Sendero Límite, Peña Rueba, España

Sendero Límite route,  Peña Rueba, Spain

Aparcamos en parking situado junto a la balsa, ya que idea de hacer la vía Sendero Límite en Peña Rueba. Vía de 270m con 10 largos, de unos 30 metros cada uno, reuniones en general cómodas con cadena. La vía ha sido extendida hasta la cima, pero debido al calor decidimos quedarnos en el final original.

We parked at the car park located next to the pond, because we were going to climb the route named Sendero Limite in Peña Rueba. The route is 270 meters long and It has 10 pitch of around 30 meters each. All the belay stations have a chain and are quite confortable. The route has been extended until the summit, but as it was such a warm day we decided to stop at the original end.

Reseña / Route:

Largo 1 (V-): Tiene una pequeña panza, se sigue por terreno más sencillo (V-).

1st Pitch (V-): It has a little bulge, the rest of the pitch is quite easy.

Largo 2 (V+): Muro vertical, el paso se encuentra en una pequeña panza casi al final del largo.

2nd Pitch (V+): Vertical wall, the hardest part is a small bulge almost at the end of the pitch.

Largo 3 (V-): Muro vertical con buen canto.

3rd Pitch (V-): Vertical wall with a good edge.

Largo 4 (V): El paso más complicado de la vía está poco después de salir de la reunión, siendo un largo algo fino y sostenido.

4th Pitch (V): The hardest part of the route is just after leaving the belay station, long and sustained pitch.

Largo 5 (IV+): La vía empieza a perder verticalidad.

5th Pitch (IV+): Pitch in which the route starts to lose verticality.

Largo 6 (IV+): La vía va hacia la izquierda y cruza la Lorenzo Ortas.

6th Pitch (IV+): The route goes to the left and cross through the route Lorenzo Ortas.

Largo 7 (V-): Largo un poco más vertical, pero sencillo.

7th Pitch (V-): A bit more vertical pitch, but easy to climb.

Largo 8 (IV+): Largo tumbado con algún paso vertical aislado.

8th Pitch (IV+): Lying down pitch with some isolated vertical parts. 

Largo 9 (IV): Muro tumbado.

9th Pitch (IV): Lying down wall.

Largo 10 (III+): Largo horizontal

10th Pitch (III+): Horizontal pitch.

Descenso: Descendemos desde el collado del Mallo la Mora, el camino destrepa por un canal bastante expuesta y vertical, asegurado con cadena y cuerda, se une a la ferrata de Peña Ruaba, por donde se continua descendiendo

Descent: We went down from Mallo la Mora’s pass, the path climbs down through a quite exposed and vertical groove, well secured thanks to a chain and rope, it links to Peña Ruaba via ferrata, and it keep going down on it.

Vía Tobazogan (Pico Tobazo (2049 m), Candanchú, España

Aparcamos junto al cuartel militar de Rioseta, de allí al inicio de la vía hay unos 20 minutos.
We parked next to Rioseta barracks, fomr there to the start it is a 20 minutes walk.

De grado asequible, a excepción de los largos sexto (6a/6b) y séptimo (6b+/6a), cuidado con la caída de piedras si hay cordadas debajo, ya que hay mucha piedra suelta.
Easily climbable apart from the 7th pitch (6a/6b) and the 8th pitch (6b+/6a), be aware of the rock falling if there are more climbers in the route, as there are a lot of loose stones.

El descenso se hace por la derecha de la última reunión, siguiendo unos mojones y marcas azules que nos llevan por unas construcciones de hormigón para los aludes, para luego continuar por una canal y una pedrera hasta salir a la zona de escalada de Lajas Bajas.

The descent starts at the right from the last belay station, following some boundary stones and blue signs. It takes us through some concrete avalanche protectors, it continues through a scree that goes down until the climbing area Lajas Bajas.

Reseña / Route:

Largo 1 a Largo 4: Placas de roca excelente con dificultad entre IV+ y V.
Pitch 1 to 4: Slabs with excellent rock, level between  IV+ to V. 

Largos 5 y 6: II/III con pequeños resaltes de IV, piedras sueltas.
Pitch 5 and 6: II/III with some parts that could be IV. loose stones.

Largo 7: Largo de 6ª, con un paso desplomado de 6b de entrada a la reunión. Roca dudosa en algunos pasos.
8th Pitch: Level 6, the last part of the pitch is a 6b overhang that reaches to the belay station, loose rock on the 6b.

Largo 8: Muro de regletas de 6b+, buena roca, continuar escalando con una dificultad de 6a/V+.

8th Pitch: 6b+ Edge slab with tiny holds, the rest of the pitch is 6a/V+.

Largo 9 y 10: Largos con resaltes rocosos con algo de vegetación, roca aceptable, IV con algún paso de V.

8th and 9th Pitch: Pitch with good holds, a lot of vegetation, good rock, IV and V in some areas.

Largo 11: Bonito largo por placa,V con pasos de V+.
11th Pitch: Nice slab, V and a few parts of V+

Largo 12: Ultimo largo, IV+ con algún paso de V.
12th Pitch: Last pitch, IV+ and some parts of V.

Diedro Hoz de Jaca, Hoz de Jaca, España

Hoz de Jaca Dihedral, Hoz de Jaca, Spain

En torno a las 7:30 de la mañana, mi padre Eduardo Teba y yo pusimos rumbo hacia el pueblo Hoz de Jaca. Aparcamos en el mismo pueblo, tras ponernos el material nos dirigimos al mirador, donde se encuentra la famosa tirolina del Valle de Tena.
At about 7:30 am , my dad eduardo Teba and me headed to the little village Hoz de Jaca. We parked in the village, and putting all the gear on we went to the point view, where the Valle de Tena Zip Lane is 

A la izquierda de la tirolina, comienza un sendero bastante vertical, por ello en ciertos tramos hay cuerdas fijas. Termina en el primer rapel, donde está la última reunión de la vía.
From the left of the zip lane, it starts a little path which is quite steep, because of that there are some permanent ropes. it ends at the first abseil, alse where the last belay station of the route is. 

Para llegar al inicio de la vía hay que realizar primero 2 rapeles.
To reach the beginning of the route there are 2 abseils first

Reseña:

Vía muy divertida, que permite una gran vista del embalse de Bubal y Peña Telera. Graduada por debajo de su nivel real, contiene pasos desplomados que podrían ser 6º perfectamente.
The route is really good fun, it offers a great view of the Bubal dam and Peña Telera. The route is graduated at a lower level than it really is.

Largo 1 (40 m, 14 seguros, 5c): El comienzo está un poco sucio de tierra que cae de arriba.. Comienza por una plaquita a regletas y luego, hasta llegar a la reunión, es un diedro fisurado. Hay algunos bloques que hay que controlar.

1st Pitch (40 m, 14 bolts, 5c): The beginning is a bit dirty because of all the dirt that falls down for higher areas. It starts on a small slab of on superimposed ledges, afterwards a dihedral until the belay station. Be careful with some holds.

Largo 2 (35 m, 10 seguros, 5c): Nada más salir de la reunión una placa con una fisura a su derecha. La placa tiene algún paso fino. Subir por ella hasta superar un pequeño techo. A partir de ahí diedro, diedro y más diedro hasta la reunión.

2nd Pitch (35 m, 10 bolt, 5c): Once left the belay station there is a slab with a crack on the right , it has some hard parts. Afterward there is a slab on a little roof. From there, it is a long dihedral until the belay station.

Largo 3 (25 m, 10 seguros, 5c): El largo es un gran diedro interrumpido por un pequeño techo al comienzo y otro hacia el final. Reunión en la esquina de una amplia repisa. 
3rd Pitch (25 m, 10 bolt, 5c): The pitch is a long dihedral only interrupted for 2 roofs one at the beginning and another one almost at the end. Belay station on the corner of a wide ledge.

Largo 4 (20 m, 6 seguros, 5c): Una bavaresa para salir de la reunión. Subir por ella hasta poco más abajo del gran techo. Cruzar a la derecha y superar el último diedro que nos deja en la última reunión.

4th Pitch (20 m, 6 bolt, 5c): A layback to start the pitch, climb on it until reaching the bottom of a big roof. Cross the roof to the right and climb the last dihedral of the route that ends at the last belay station.

Vía Ferrata Canal del Palomo, Vadiello, Huesca

A las 8 de la mañana puse rumbo junto Rober hacia Vadiello, para realizar la vía ferrata Canal del Palomo.
At 8am Rober and me headed to Vadiello, to climb the via ferrata Canal del Palomo.

En torno a las 9:30 aparcamos el coche en un párking situado a 5 minutos andando del inicio de la ferrata.
At about 9:30 am we parked the car at the car park located 5 min away from the start of the via ferrata.

Nivel (Level): K4 (Faltan clavijas) (There are some missing bars) 

Localización (Location): Vadiello

Descripción (Description): Subimos sin ningún tipo de problema pero también hay que decir que no es una ferrata fácil y puede presentar bastante dificultad a una persona que no este preparada, ya que conforme va ganando altura en la canal, hay tramos en los que las clavijas se encuentran muy separadas unas de otras por lo que hay que apretar, ademas en un par de puntos han desaparecido por lo que tuvimos que ascender agarrandonos de la sirga.
We had no trouble at all but it is true that it is not an easy via ferrata, it can be quite hard for a person who is not well prepared, because as it is going up in the canyon, there are some parts where the bars are quite far from each other, also in a couple parts the bars have come off so we had to hold the safety line (cable) to climb up.

Durante la ascensión hay varias pozas en las que se pueden ver una gran cantidad de tritones pirenaicos (Calotriton asper) animal muy dificil de encontrar.
During the climb there are some natural ponds in which there are pyrenean newts (Calotriton asper), an rare animal really hard to find nowadays.

Al terminar la canal giramos a la derecha y aparecimos al pie del impactante Circo de Lagüerri, y tras una pequeña caminata de unos 10 minutos siguiendo la linea de vida terminamos la ferrata.
We turned right as soon as we finished the canyon, ending up at the botton of the impressive Circo de Lagüerri (Cirque of Laguerri), after a 10 min walk following the safety line we finished the via ferrata.

Desde el final de la ferrata, tomamos un sendero hasta el parking.
We took a path from the ferrata's end to the car park.

Tras cambiarnos fuimos a dar una vuelta por el embalse de Vadiello donde disfrutamos de las vistas del embalse y pudimos observar los Mallos de Ligüerri.
