La vía rápida, equipada totalmente con parabolt, siendo rapelable:
Quick route that has 2 pitches, well belayed with bolts, the belay stations have the abseils already set: 

Largo 1 (25 metros, IV+)
1st pitch (25 meters IV+) 

Largo 2 (20 metros, V/V+): Desplome en roca muy buena.
2nd pitch (20 meters, V/V+):  Overhang with good rock.

Vía Ultravox, Mallo Colorado, Riglos, España

Ultravox Route, Mallet Colorado, Riglos, Spain

Esta vez la ruta elegida para hoy es la vía Ultravox, en el Mallo Colorado en Riglos. La vía se encuentra situada junto a una sabina de gran tamaño, las chapas son de color metálico. Un poco más arriba de esa sabina veremos una línea de chapas oscuras, es la vía “Víctor García”.

The route chosen this time is the Ultravox route, on the “Mallet Colorado” in Riglos. The route is located next to a big savine, the bolts are metallic colour. A bit further up from the savine there is a line of black bolts, that is the “Victor García” Route.

Reseña / Route:

Largo 1 (25 m, 5 seg., 5a): Placa vertical con buenos agarres.

1st Pitch  (25 m, 5 seg., 5a):  Vertical wall with good holds.

Largo 2(45 m, 8 seg., 6a):  Salir de la reunión hacia la derecha superando un murito vertical, para luego escalar una panza con los seguros cerca, una vez superado el largo pierde verticalidad.

2nd Pitch (45 m, 8 seg., 6a): Leave the belay station on the leftm, to climb a small vertical wall, afterwards there is a bulge with the bolts quite close from each other, once over the bulge the pitch loses steepness.

Largo 3 (15 m, 0 seg., II): Placa muy tumbada que se sube andando.

3rd Pitch (15 m, 0 seg., II): Largo 4 (20 m, 3 seg., 4c): Flat slab that can be walked.

Largo 4 (20 m, 3 seg., 4c): Corto muro vertical de unos 5 metros. Luego placa tumbada de roca compacta hasta llegar a la reunión.

4th Pitch (20 m, 3 seg., 4c): Short vertical wall of about 5 meters. Afterwards there is a lying down slab with compact rock until the belay station.

Descenso: Rapel al otro lado de la cima
Descent: By abseiling down from the opposite side of the summit.

Espolón Starlux, Peña Predicadera, Huesca, España

Eduardo Teba y un servidor pusimos rumbo a la Peña Predicadera, para escalar el Espolón Starlux.

Eduardo Teba and me headed to Peña Predicadera, to climb the route Espolón Starlux (Starlux Buttress).

Vía con muy buena roca. El tramo de 6a del segundo largo es un corto muro de unos 8 metros bien protegido. Se puede bajar rapelando por la misma vía (reuniones con anillas).

The route goes on a good and solid rock. On the 2nd pitch there is a 8 meters wall which is 6ª, but it is well belayed.

Reseña / Route:

Largo 1 (45 m, 5 seg., 4b): Placa de roca compacta y adherente.

1st Pitch (45 m, 5 bolts, 4b):  Slab with good rock and grip.

Largo 2 (30 m, 6 seg., 6a):  Muro vertical de unos 8 metros nada más salir de la reunión bien protegido con parabolts, Luego la placa tumba Bastante. Reunión antes del gran bloque "Starlux".

2nd Pitch (30 m, 6 bolts, 6a): Vertical wall just after the belay station, well protected with bolts. Afterwards it lies down a bit, belay station before the buttress "Starlux".

Largo 3 (30 m 2 seg., 3c): SLa ruta va a la derecha del espolón, el paso está protegido por un parabolt. Lo siguiente es más fácil.

3rd Pitch (30 m 2 bolts, 3c): The route goes to the right to get round the buttress, there is one bolt to protect it.

Largo 4 (40 m, 5 seg., 4b): Placa tumbada que se va enderezando. Luego la vía se mete por la canal-diedro de la derecha.

4rd Pitch (40 m, 5 bolts, 4b): Lying down slab that gets steeper, afterwards the route goes through the dihedral that is on the right.

Largo 5 (40 m, 3 seg., 4a): Un canalillo-diedro al comienzo, seguido de una zona horizontal. De frente tenemos un gran techo desplomado, posibilidad también de hacerlo en A0.

5th Pitch (40 m, 3 bolts, 4a): Small dihedral at the beginning, following by a horinzotal area. The last part is an overhung roof, it can be aid climbed (A0).

Descenso: Se puede bajar rapelando por la misma vía (reuniones con anillas) o Caminando siguiendo los mojones.

Descent: By abseiling down on the same route or by foot following the boundary markers.

Vía del Nano y Vía Boletus, Balneario de Panticosa, España

Nos encontramos en el Balneario de Panticosa, para realizar las vías “Tercera Vía del Nano” y “Boletus”, localizadas detrás Refugio Casa de Piedra.

We are in Balneario de Panticosa (Panticosa’s Health Resort), to climb the routes “Tercera Vía del Nano” and “Boletus”, located just behind of the Casa de Piedra shelter.

Vía del Nano / Del Nano Route:

Localizada en el primer muro, junto al camino.

Located on “el primer muro” (The first wall).

Largo 1 (35m., V+, IV, III): La vía comienza en un desplome para continuar por un muro más fácil hasta llegar a la reunión.

1st Pitch (35m., V+, IV, III): The route starts on an overhung wall, to carry on an easier wall untill the belay station.

Largo 2 (30m., V, III+, II): Empieza en una fisura vertical, tras un tramo sencillo pasaremos otro pequeño muro, acabaremos el largo con una travesía hacia la derecha.

2nd Pitch (30m., V, III+, II): It begins on a vertical crack, after a small part there is a small wall, the pitch en don a right traverse.

Largo 3 (V+, 25m): Subiremos un muro vertical y mantenido de roca oscura.

3rd Pitch (V+, 25m): Climb on a vertical and long dark rock wall.

Largo 4 (III, 25m): Largo escalonado y tumbado.

4th Pitch (III, 25m): Staggered and lying pitch.

Vía Boletus / Boletus Route:

Ubicada a la derecha de la vía “Rebollón” en el segundo muro.

Located at the right of the Rebollón route, on the second wall.

Largo 1 (35 m, 12 seg., 6a o V-/A0): Placa de roca compacta hasta ponerse en la base del muro vertical. Muro en el que hay que apretar o tirar de artificial. Después la placa se va tumbando. Reunión en una amplia plataforma herbosa.

1st Pitch (35 m, 12 bolts, 6a or V-/A0): Slab of compacted rock. Wall in which you have to “push” yourself or grab the quick draw. Then the slab falls down gradually. Belay station on a wide grassy ledge.

Largo 2 (30 m, 9 seg., IV+): Placa tumbada con chorreras negras al comienzo. Luego una placa de granito. Continúa por placa tumbada que se sube de derecha a izquierda. Últimos metros por el canto derecho de la aguja (espoloncillo).

2nd Pitch (30 m, 9 bolts., IV+): Lying slab with black ribs at the beginning. Afterwards a granite slab. It continues on a lying slab that goes up from the right to the left. The last few meters are a little buttress.

Largo 3 (35 m, 8 seg., IV): Bajar unos 3-4 metros. Luego una placa de granito rugosa con buenos agarres. Superada la placa, último tramo bastante sencillo. Reunión en un gran pino rodeado por una gran sirga de acero.

3rd Pitch (35 m, 8 bolts, IV): It starts on a  3 - 4 meters downclimb, it continues on a granite slab with good holds. The last part is quite easy. The belay station i son a big pine.
