Vía Ferrata Suela de La Zapatilla, Candanchú, Spain
A las 7 de la mañana aparqué en Candanchú y tomé el camino hacía el telesilla de Tortiellas. Para luego continuar ascendiendo por el corredor de la zapatilla.
At 7 am, I parked at Candanchu’s car park and took the path towards Tortiellas chairlift, from where it starts the path to the base of the Ferrata.
La ferrata empieza a través de una fisura tumbada, después asciende por una placa vertical que termina en una pradera llena de Edelweiss.
The ferrata begins climbing up through a lying crack, afterwards it goes up on a vertical slab that ends in a meadow full of Edelweiss.
En la pradera, la ruta continúa siguiendo los mojones hasta la glera. Una vez en la glera, la vía continua hasta la base de la montaña, justo debajo de una cueva, donde se encuentra la sirga de nuevo.
In the meadow, the route continues following the boundary markers until the scree. Once on the scree, the route goes up to the base of the mountain, just at the bottom of a cave, where the next safety line is.
La ferrata continua por dentro de la cueva, llevando a la parte baja de la suela de la Zapatilla, la gran placa que lleva hasta la cima.
The ferrata continues through the cave, leading to the lower part of the suela de la Zapatilla (Sole of the Trainer), a massive slab that ends at the summit.
El descenso se realiza siguiendo la sirga y después el sendero que termina en la pista de la Tortiellas.
